Last night I took an early break from sketch cards to do this. I used up the last scraps of this paper, so yeah. I need more. One of the larger and cooler art supply stores I frequent went out of business recently, so I have to find a new place to get this paper. Hmm.
I've also been a TURBO hermit the last couple weeks, and I REALLY do apologize for that. I'll be back to "me" soon. I'll also be taking time to clear off my overdue commissions and start throwing a couple pieces of art up on Ebay.
Oops. Wrong deadline:) It's all blurring together!! Where am I?!
Just got home from BELGIUM!!! I want to write this down before I forget. We were there for 6 days and I came down with a wicked cold the night before we left, but fun times were had despite my body hating me. Here's some random thoughts and photos under the influence of cold medicine... ( Collapse )
In town from an incredible week in DC! I'll be making updates on Steve's Gray Matter show, walking around DC, great people, and even our flight being cancelled, rescheduled, and THEN making an emergency landing in New Mexico.
But for now, I wanted to share some art by the INCREDIBLY talented and wonderful Nene Thomas. I don't normally do modeling anymore, but I definitely make exceptions for the right people. ( Collapse )
Steve was going to a meeting this morning. As usual, we were running late. So I rolled out of bed, put english muffins in the toaster, threw on shoes and stumbled to the end of the drive way to move the garbage bins so he could pull out without hitting them. I'm still in my pajamas, half asleep, grabbing the first bin. I move it to the side of the driveway. As I'm walking back to the next bin to move, I look down so I don't step in the puddles...
I notice something moving on the ground. It takes me a second, but I realize it's a praying mantis. A weird light peach color.
